education Fellowship

Piedmont Wildlife Center’s Education Fellowships are geared towards individuals seeking experience in outdoor/environmental education, or naturalist/survivalist skills. Fellows will learn to:

  • Conduct educational program design and implement in our summer camp programs 

  • Develop tactics & observe professionals in the field for developing an active learning environment.

  • Expand knowledge in local flora and fauna, while exploring different environmental education methods

  • Plan and lead educational presentation on topic of there choosing

  • Propose and complete a Capstone project by the end of the fellowship.

Summer Fellowships (June-August) are full-time positions with our summer camp programs and are a minimum of 9 weeks in length. This is a paid position.
