education Fellowship
Piedmont Wildlife Center’s Education Fellowships are geared towards individuals seeking experience in outdoor/environmental education, or naturalist/survivalist skills. Fellows will learn to:
Conduct educational program design and implement in our summer camp programs
Develop tactics & observe professionals in the field for developing an active learning environment.
Expand knowledge in local flora and fauna, while exploring different environmental education methods
Plan and lead educational presentation on topic of there choosing
Propose and complete a Capstone project by the end of the fellowship.
Summer Fellowships (June-August) are full-time positions with our summer camp programs and are a minimum of 9 weeks in length. This is a paid position.
