ambassador animals

The animals of Piedmont Wildlife Center serve as ambassadors for their species. Our ambassadors come to us from a variety of backgrounds and each ambassador has an important lesson to teach about wildlife conservation. Their stories inspire all who meet them to make changes to protect our environment and the animals that live in it.

Learn how to invite the animals into your classroom, host a birthday party, or schedule a tour to visit PWC.

In Loving memory of our past ambassadors

The animals of Piedmont Wildlife Center leave a lasting mark on the hearts of everyone they meet. Though they may no longer be with us, their legacy lives on in the lessons they taught and the connections they fostered between humans and the natural world. Each of these ambassadors played a vital role in inspiring compassion, curiosity, and conservation—reminding us that every creature has a story worth sharing. We honor their lives with gratitude, knowing their impact will continue to ripple through the community they touched.
