Piedmont Wildlife Center offers unique internship opportunities for, college students, and adults. Our internships and fellowships provide direct, hands-on experience for individuals seeking to be of service to the community and the natural world.
Each internship at Piedmont Wildlife Center is tailored to the individual’s goals and interests. Non-college students wishing to gain more field experience are also encouraged to apply.
wildlife conservation internships
Study eastern box turtles; practice wildlife monitoring techniques; care for our Animal Ambassadors; learn how to handle raptors; help with our Citizen Science project; and more.

Fellowships
Create nature education programs for our summer camp program; develop mentoring skills; explore natural history, local flora & fauna; and more.
