Our Running Wild 2.0 teams crossed the finish line on Sunday, June 3rd!
It was a close race, but Team Edgar was able to outwit the competition to finish in first place. Congratulations, Team Edgar! Teammates were treated to a free Owl Bomb featuring Bella the Great Horned Owl, as well as a cameo from Sir Edgar himself.
Running Wild 2.0 was a success! Our 78 participants submitted a whopping 330 entries, totaling more than 1514 kilometers – that’s 914 miles!
Thank you one and all for participating in Running Wild 2.0. Your support means the world to everyone in the Piedmont Wildlife Center community. Even though Team Edgar took the gold, you are all Ambassador Animal champions!
