The cougar is a master of the art of invisibility and camouflage. Moving silently through the shadows like a ghost in the forest, it blends into its surroundings perfectly. Join us while we discover the different ways animals move quietly around us!

Fully engage your mind and body while playing some of PWC’s famous woodland games! Join us for story-driven games that encourage appreciation of the natural world. Children will learn to work in groups and resolve conflicts in a safe environment. During these games, your child will strive to be quiet as a fox, fast as a wolf, and persistent as the wind!

This camp is all about knowing what creatures and critters live in our neighborhoods. What are they doing? How can we help them live peacefully in the wild? Our week will be filled with up close encounters, hands-on discovery, little known facts, and perplexing mysteries. The wonder of life science will be our central theme and we will wield all of the tools of the modern naturalists so we can explore everything we see.

What is Mystery Week? A week full of fun and surprises: each day, the theme will be something different. Monday might be about Owls and Tuesday might be about Fire Building. Every day will be a new experience with different activities and nature exploration.

Holes, fallen trees, debris: all of these can be used by animals to protect themselves. In this week of camp, we will discuss how animals and people use shelter to escape the heat and the cold. This camp will involve gathering leafy debris, using vines to tie knots, and the know-hows on gathering branches for shelter building. We will investigate the animals that dwell in our parks and incorporate their designs into our own structures.
